With regard to the Standard Time Feed Service (TimeFEED) that has been provided since January 1, 2006, on March 8, 2006 INTERNET MULTIFEED CO. ("MFEED"; Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koichi Suzuki) acquired a license from the Nippon Information Communications Association (License No. TA0003) to operate a time distribution business under the Time Business Reliability and Security Licensing System(Note 1).

Standard time distribution service (TimeFEED) provides high precision, high reliability time information to clocks that are built in various servers and network devices of clients by adopting Network Time Protocol (NTP) (Note 2), an open protocol, and furthermore, uses NTP to monitor the time on those clocks.

By taking this opportunity to acquire a time distribution business license, INTERNET MULTIFEED CO. will contribute to the development of time business, on which increasingly larger expectations will be placed in the future, such as for incorporation of not only operators licensed for the time verification business (Note 4), who provide time stamps that comply with the e-Document Law that went into effect on April 1, 2005 (Note 3) but also synchronization of the time of internal systems, which will provide the base for internal control using IT, as symbolized by the Japanese version of the SOX Act (Note 5), thereby realizing a safe and secure IT society.
